Vow Renewals...

No matter how long it has been since your wedding day, a number of people are now choosing to celebrate again by renewing their vows.

Couples who have returned to Australia married often decided to hold a ceremony to allow their family and friends who couldn't be with them overseas to join them in a celebration.

Possibly your original wedding was not quite the way you had planned it and you are now more financially secure and able to hold the wedding you have dreamed of.  Then this is an opportunity to renew your vows and give yourselves the wedding you have always wanted.

Anniversaries are a great time to plan your vow renewal, however there may be other special days, like a special birthday, or the anniversary of your parent's wedding.  In fact getting together with your parents on their anniversary and planning a 'double vow renewal' can be very meaningful.

If you like having lots of family and friends nearby, you could plan a 'family style get away' where you, your parents, your friends can all meet up for a 'Vow Renewal Weekend'!  It would be fun to organise a big group at a place like a bed and breakfast, and conduct a 'mass renewal' for all the couples.

Whether you choose to renew your vows often, or to make it a once in a lifetime celebration is up to you both.  Naturally as part of your commemoration I will present you with a beautiful certificate to celebrate your commitment to one another.

There is nothing nobler or more admirable than when two people, who see eye to eye, keep house as man and wife, confounding their enemies and delighting their friends.   Homer
